It is present-day, and in the kingdom of Auradon, all of Disney’s beloved heroes and royalty are living happily ever after, safe from the terrifying villains and troublesome sidekicks they have banished to the magic-free Isle of the Lost. That is until Ben, the benevolent teenage son of Belle and King Adam (The Beast), offers a chance of redemption for the troublemaking offspring of the evilest villains. Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos – the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar – are welcomed to Auradon Prep to attend school with the children of their parents’ sworn enemies. Now entering a completely foreign world and way of life, the four Villain Kids have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

  • Auditions

Auditions will be held on November 14 from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM CT and November 15 and November 18 between 5:00 and 8:00 PM CT. All auditions will be virtual. You will be given Zoom connection information before the audition.

Actors 2nd grade and up will be considered for roles. All auditioners will be cast in the show. Role assignments will be announced at the first rehearsal. Actors should prepare a 1 min (32-bar) song from a contemporary DISNEY musical OR a musical theatre song in a pop/rock belt and a monologue less than 1 minute, memorized.

  • Rehearsals

Rehearsals will take place on Monday nights from 5:30-8:00 PM starting in December avoiding holiday breaks. There may be some select rehearsals on Thursday nights. CAST will be adhering to a strict policy of no more than 3 rehearsal absences and mandatory dress rehearsals.

  • Performances

Performances will be tentatively held in late March 2021. COVID-19 may play a part in changes to those plans. As we approach auditions in November, we will try to update on performance plans at that time.

  • Tuition

Tuition for this production will be $350, which includes a cast member’s script and costume. If a class is taken concurrently with enrollment in a production, the class will be discounted by 20% (includes classes taken in any semester during rehearsals/performances of the production). Comp tickets will NOT be available for this production. Tickets for the performances will be sold for $8 each.
